Music That Feels Inevitable

The best score doesn’t announce itself. It feels like it was always part of the film. I approach composition by getting underneath the image, into what isn’t being said. From there, I build a sound that belongs to that world alone, blending orchestral weight with analog and digital textures. If it’s working, you don’t notice the music. You feel the film differently because of it.

Music That Feels Inevitable

Good design isn't just about looking right it's about working right. Every project starts with understanding your brand, your audience, and your goals. Then I build systems around that. Clean, strategic, and built to last.

A Voice Through Exploration

My work has developed through exploration rather than following a fixed path, each project shaping the next. Most recently, I composed the score for The Activated Man, earning Best Original Score at the Birmingham Film Festival, Romford Horror Film Festival, and the Diamond Award at Mindfield. Each experience continues to refine a voice that’s still evolving, but distinctly my own.

Silence, Then Sound

Stepping away is part of the process. When everything gets too defined, I leave it. Sometimes completely. Spending time in isolation, often out in nature. That distance resets how I hear. What comes back isn’t always predictable, but it’s always more honest. That honesty is what shapes the work.

The Activated Man

2023

Feature Film

A score built around psychological tension and release. I used evolving harmonic layers and very lyrical melodies and heartfelt motifs to mirror the character’s internal unraveling, allowing the music to slowly shift from grounded to unsettling without ever fully resolving.

Tabitha: Witch of the Order

2019

TV Pilot

Centered around atmosphere and ritual, the score leans into dark tonal textures and subtle rhythmic pulses, yet very melodic. The intention was to create a sense of unease that feels ancient rather than overtly dramatic.

The Artifact

2018

TV Series

A more textural approach, using minimal thematic material and focusing instead on sonic space. The music acts as an extension of the environment, reinforcing mystery without dictating emotion.

Scoundrels: A Star Wars Story

2018

Short

Inspired by John Williams’ iconic work on Star Wars, the score draws from classic orchestral adventure writing while introducing subtle shifts in harmony and phrasing to establish its own identity. The goal was to honor that legacy without leaning into imitation.

Company Man

2016

Short

A controlled, minimal score built around repetition and subtle variation. Small changes in harmony and timing were used to reflect underlying tension beneath an otherwise composed exterior.

Raw Tension

2016

Short

A sinister, tension-driven score focused on control rather than chaos. The music holds back, letting unease build gradually through repetition and subtle distortion instead of overt intensity.

Almost Boyfriends

2016

Short

A lighter, more intimate approach. The music stays close to the characters, using simple melodic ideas and space to support emotional nuance without overstatement.

BRASS: The Lair of the Red Widow

2016

Short

Built around a steampunk-inspired sonic palette, the score uses metallic percussion, gears, shifting mechanisms, and water textures as rhythmic elements. Movement across the stereo field mirrors the mechanical world, while the music balances adventure and mystery without losing its sense of atmosphere.
